Hello there, my name’s Stephanie, but you can call me Steph.

I’m a Cape Town-based makeup artist with a passion for using the best products to bring out a person’s natural beauty and personality, whether they’re in jeans and sneakers or a wedding dress and heels.

My love for makeup began as a five-year-old ballerina in Namibia when I witnessed the magical effect of a mascara wand being applied backstage, and I’ve been hooked ever since.

After receiving my diploma in interior design from the BHC School of Design in Cape Town, I poured my creativity into helping people reflect their personality and style through their environment. But when sitting as a model for my makeup artist sister, I realised that my enthusiasm for makeup hadn’t diminished and I belonged on the other side of the brush!

I studied makeup and hair professionally, and have since been privileged to work with some amazing people, including Liezel van der Westhuizen, Tarina Patel and Terry Pheto. But a highlight for me remains the magical moment a bride sees herself in the mirror for the first time - and I know I’ve helped her feel like the most beautiful girl in the world.
